August 17, 2016

For the Fifth Consecutive Year, Clarity Appears on the Inc. 5000 list with Three-Year Sales Growth of 176%

Madison, CT (August 17, 2016) – Inc. magazine recently ranked Clarity Software Solutions, Inc. on its 35th annual Inc. 5000 for the fifth consecutive year, the most prestigious ranking of the nation's fastest-growing private companies. The list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the American economy’s most dynamic segment— its independent small businesses. Companies such as Microsoft, Dell, Domino’s Pizza, Pandora, Timberland, LinkedIn, Yelp, Zillow, and many other well-known names gained their first national exposure as honorees of the Inc. 5000.

“The Clarity team has worked extremely hard to achieve the level of success we’ve experienced since the company’s inception in 2007,” said Sean Rotermund, President and CEO, Clarity Software Solutions. “To rank on the Inc. 5000 list for five consecutive years is an accomplishment that we’re tremendously proud of. It’s not only the result of a great product, but also the hard work of an amazing team. We value the partnerships that have been established with our clients over the years and appreciate their continued support. We are honored to join other thriving businesses in accepting this prestigious distinction.”

The 2016 Inc. 5000, unveiled online at Inc.com and with the top 500 companies featured in the September issue of Inc. (available on newsstands August 23) is the most competitive crop in the list’s history. The average company on the list achieved a mind-boggling three-year growth of 433%. The Inc. 5000’s aggregate revenue is $200 billion, and the companies on the list collectively generated 640,000 jobs over the past three years, or about 8% of all jobs created in the entire economy during that period. Complete results of the Inc. 5000, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, region, and other criteria, can be found at www.inc.com/inc5000.

"The Inc. 5000 list stands out where it really counts,” says Inc. President and Editor-In-Chief Eric Schurenberg. “It honors real achievement by a founder or a team of them. No one makes the Inc. 5000 without building something great – usually from scratch. That’s one of the hardest things to do in business, as every company founder knows. But without it, free enterprise fails.”

The annual Inc. 5000 event honoring all the companies on the list will be held from October 18 through 20, in San Antonio, TX. Speakers include some of the greatest entrepreneurs of this and past generations, such as best-selling author and strategist Tony Robbins, SoulCycle co-founders Elizabeth Cutler and Julie Rice, Cornerstone OnDemand founder, president and CEO Adam Miller, Marvell Technology Group director and co-founder Weili Dai, and New Belgium Brewing co-founder and executive chair Kim Jordan.

Encouraging collaboration and engagement amongst peers

Madison, CT (July 13, 2015) – Clarity Software Solutions, Inc. recently announced plans to host their second annual client summit this fall as a result of the positive feedback provided from their inaugural event last year. Clarity Named a Red Herring Top 100 North America Winner
June 11, 2015

Award recognizes most promising private technology companies

Madison, CT (June 11, 2015) – Last week, Red Herring announced its Top 100 North America award winners in recognition of the leading private companies from the region, celebrating these startups’ innovations and technologies across their respective industries.

“Innovation is in Clarity’s DNA,” said Sean Rotermund, President and CEO, Clarity Software Solutions. “With the healthcare industry rapidly evolving, it’s imperative we stay ahead of the curve and continue to invest in our comprehensive and secure technology platform for our health plan clients. We are honored to be recognized alongside so many innovative, successful companies and it’s a validation of the value we’re providing.”

Red Herring Top 100 America enlists outstanding entrepreneurs and promising companies. It selects the award winners from approximately 1,200 privately financed companies each year in the U.S. and Canada. Since 1996, Red Herring has kept tabs on these up-and-comers. Red Herring editors were among the first to recognize that companies such as Facebook, Twitter, Google, Yahoo, Skype, Salesforce.com, YouTube, Palo Alto Networks and eBay would change the way we live and work.

“In 2015, selecting the top achievers was by no means a small feat,” said Alex Vieux, publisher and CEO of Red Herring. “In fact, we had the toughest time in years because so many entrepreneurs had crossed significant milestones so early. But after much thought, rigorous contemplation and discussion, we narrowed our list down from hundreds of candidates from across North America to the North America winners. We believe Clarity embodies the vision, drive and innovation that define a successful entrepreneurial venture. Clarity should be proud of its accomplishment, as the competition was very strong.”

Red Herring’s editorial staff evaluated companies on both quantitative and qualitative criteria, such as financial performance, technological innovation and intellectual property, DNA of the founders, business model, customer footprint and addressable market. A review of the track record and standing of startups relative to their sector peers, allowed Red Herring to see past the “buzz” and make the list a valuable instrument of discovery and advocacy for the most promising new business models in North America, complement this assessment of potential.

Clarity Named One of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut for the Second Consecutive Year

Madison, CT (March 10, 2015) – Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., leading healthcare plan communications provider was recently named as one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut for the second consecutive year. This tenth annual program was created by the Hartford Business Journal and Best Companies Group.

“It’s an honor to be recognized as one of the Best Places to Work in Connecticut for a second consecutive year,” said Amy Dickman, Director of Human Resources, Clarity Software Solutions. “We strive to make Clarity an enjoyable place to work for our entire team. It’s important to us that everyone here feels valued and can openly communicate to ensure ongoing growth.”

This survey and awards program was designed to identify, recognize, and honor the best employers in Connecticut, benefiting the state's economy, workforce, and businesses. The list is made up of 35 companies split into two categories: 18 small/medium-sized companies (15-199 US employees) and 17 large-sized companies (200 or more US employees). Clarity has been named one of this year’s Best Places to Work in Connecticut in the small/medium category.

To be considered for participation, companies had to fulfill the following eligibility requirements:

- Be a for-profit, not-for-profit business or government entity;
- Be a publicly or privately held business;
- Have a facility in Connecticut;
- Have at least 15 employees in Connecticut;
- Be in business a minimum of 1 year.

Companies from across the state entered the two-part survey process to determine the Best Places to Work in Connecticut. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company's workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems, and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The combined scores determined the top companies and the final ranking. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process in Connecticut, analyzed the data, and determined the final rankings.

The ranked companies were recognized at a special awards ceremony on March 11, 2015, and the actual rankings were in the March 16, 2015, issue of the Hartford Business Journal.

Madison, CT (February 6, 2015) – As the healthcare industry focuses in on the consumer, Clarity Software Solutions, Inc., leading healthcare plan communications provider, continues to offer customized solutions meant to cultivate member engagement.
